Bigger and better than before, Bournemouth’s premier bug and invert show returns for 2025!
Due to the honestly incredible turnout and support we got from the the first show in 2024, there was no way this show wasn’t going to become an annual affair! With over 1000 people attending, everyone’s expectations were well and truly smashed and an incredible day was had by all!
The Bournemouth Bug Show will return in 2025 on Sunday June 1st, at a new larger venue offering even more traders than before, with over 100 tables of everything inverts!
Who are we?
The Bournemouth Bug Show was formed when a group of invert and reptile lovers came together to meet and talk about everything bug related! Having this common interest quickly helped those attending realise they had found their tribe. Feeling connected to others is an important part of human nature and we believe that the entomology community provides a safe space for real human connection.
An amazing relationship has formed between the Bournemouth Bug Show and the Bournemouth National Science Society, with 2024 raising £200 for their charity. The show will continue to support the BNSS through 2025, again raising money through donations and the raffle.
The Show
Entry into the show is simple and affordable, starting from just £5 per person, for anyone over the age of 13. Kids 12 and under go absolutely free and won’t even need a ticket!
Tickets can be purchased in advance, or on the day at the door.
To help reduce the queues and ensure a speedy entry, please ensure you have:
- Your advanced tickets printed / stored on your phone and ready to present the QR Code to gate staff
- Card / Cash (ideally the correct amount) ready to pay
Doors open to the public at 11:00am and the show will come to a close at 4:00pm.

If you fancy something a little stronger, the centre also has a large bar area.
Both the café and bar area have ample seating including areas that give you a full balcony view above the show hall!
Parking
The site hosts a large, hard standing carpark, with ample disabled and “Parent & Toddler” parking spaces available.
The car park offers 3 hours FREE parking; parking over the 3 hours is bookable via the “Horizons Parking” app.
Due to the car park being chargeable after the 3 hours, we have decided to offer 5x FREE raffle tickets to anyone who shows their parking confirmation at the raffle stand.
